Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, confectioners sugar, and kosher salt. Melt unsalted butter and add to the flour mixture along with vanilla extract. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Press the dough evenly into a 23cm tart pan with removable bottom, covering the base and sides.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes until golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Fill with your desired tart filling.
