Shortbread Tart Crust
Ingredients
- 125 g all-purpose flour
- 30 g confectioners sugar
- 0.25 tsp kosher salt
- 113 g unsalted butter
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, confectioners sugar, and kosher salt. Melt unsalted butter and add to the flour mixture along with vanilla extract. Stir until a dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into a 23cm tart pan with removable bottom, covering the base and sides.
- Bake for 20 minutes until golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Fill with your desired tart filling.
