Som Tum
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic
- chillies
- 0.5 tbsp lime juice
- 0.5 tbsp fish sauce
- 0.5 tbsp palm sugar
- 1 handful shredded green papaya
- pieces long beans
- 0.5 tomato
- 1 eggplant
- 1 tbsp roasted peanuts

Method
- Put garlic and chillies into a mortar and smash until broken into small pieces.
- Add lime juice, fish sauce, and palm sugar. Mix until the sugar dissolves.
- Add shredded green papaya, long beans cut into 1-2 inch lengths, tomato cut into quarters, and eggplant cut into quarters. Pound until the papaya looks soft and turns slightly brown.
- Top with roasted peanuts and serve with sticky rice or cabbage.
