Pad Thai
Ingredients
- 1.5 tbsp cooking oil
- cloves garlic
- slices chicken
- 1 small piece tofu
- 1 egg
- 50 g rice noodles
- 4 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp tamarind paste
- 0.5 tbsp palm sugar
- 0.5 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp dark soy sauce
- garlic chives
- 1 handful bean sprouts

Method
- Heat cooking oil in a wok over medium heat. Add garlic rough chopped and stir until fragrant and turning yellow.
- Add chicken and tofu diced, stirring for about 10-15 seconds.
- Break in egg and scramble, then mix everything together.
- Add rice noodles (soaked if dry) and water. Season with tamarind paste, palm sugar, fish sauce, oyster sauce, and dark soy sauce. Toss until noodles are tender.
- Add garlic chives cut into 1 inch lengths and bean sprouts. Mix everything well for about 5 seconds and serve.
